reminder that hetalia caters to fujoshis (and fudanshis and fujins). this is a yaoi fans bait series, or a fan service series at the very least: if you're a hetalia fan you are a yaoi/fan service fan.

the new au designs are cool and everything but if you asked me to choose between that or the unfinished christmas event guest what i would i reply. what my idiot was going to do in that bunny costume? (would there would be frying pangle + g/er interactions?) what were the allies planning to do...? that said, yes the main three are still going to be friends forever and ever in canon and i don't expect that too change (how is that in-universe? [main universe], "don't think about it"? or like that table water gif?), but i'm p sure the first to arrive there after the trio were also ax/is or that adjacent, like why keep doing that (in 2011) (also i like the other five still operating as a friend group / council, but would they really still be friends? probs more like frenemies lol). the main 8 will always be 3 + 5 (+ sometimes some others, usually more closer to the former group)... there is also different potential contemporary interactions or grouping(?) that do happen tbf (f/ra and g/er or r/us, rus and ita recently, us/a and j/pn, end and j/pn, etc), while of course there is more cou/ntries. some things never change, even in a different au.

once again thinking that saying people can do mistakes and keeping that in mind instead of doing one strike you're out isn't the same as asking permission to be a bigot on purpose. that's bad faith reading.
