🪐 11/3/23 school update
what I did:
- took stats take home exam
- chapter 14 marketing hw
- progressive club things
- bus. ethics forum post and response
I just had one super short problem session class today, then roomie and I got coffee and went to the library to work! I also went to get my nose piercing downsized. I have a good bit of work to do this weekend. roomie and I started rewatching sherlock today and I just love it so much I could cry
I discovered a new library!
Last week, I went out of town to study on campus attended by students of agriculture and veterinary medicine. It was very different from my department, in fact there was so much green and so much tranquility. I think that library is at the first place in my ranking. pity it’s too far away… :(

'Do you like winter?'
I have mixed feelings about winter. I find that some of the most uncomfortable sensations come from winter namely that feeling of hot breath water vapour on your scarf on your neck, or that feeling of overheating when you've run for the tube. But at the same time winter is so much calmer, and I find that I dont have to worry about my body image at all. It's a relief from summer. I'm growing to like winters crisp mornings and a good excuse for a hot coffee. X Emily

switched over from a bullet journal to notion. this is my college page, which took two semesters to perfect, and i’m so proud and happy with how i’ve been able to use it to keep me on track!
1. i have a bad habit of not going to class so being able to check off the classes as i attend them makes me feel more accomplished and encourages me to go to class. anything for a little serotonin.
2. i like to visually see my upcoming due dates, just so it feels more real and lights a fire under my butt to get my work done.
3. i also like organizing my assignments and listing what class they are for, how much they’re worth, and what marks i got.
4. i made separate pages to keep track of all of my class which then contains all my notes, documents, and online resources (such as e-books and websites relevant/required for the class). it also has contact information for the professor and individual assignment lists.

24.10.20 - i went to the library for the first time in months!! it was nice to be back, and i ended up being really productive despite the strange circumstances. its weird going back to basics and covering topics i haven’t covered in years!!
