Romance isn’t my bag yo. This one was I guess slightly less cookie cutter because it featured a rich autistic girl and a hunky Vietnamese guy in a gender swapped Pretty Women thing. THOSE scenes definitely make heteros all breathless and blushy. I guess ? The plot is just literally their “relationship” but the main conflict could have easily been avoided if they had just been honest with each other from the get go?

For the most part the supporting characters felt one dimensional, just kind of a weird fence around the main couple. I just have a hard time buying into this kind of whirlwind relationship pacing. Also the author tries to add in that they really actually like all these good qualities in each other when she just spent the book describing how they just have really good chemistry in bed.

Anyways this is why I don’t usually read romance. It’s gushy and weirdly flat. But that’s just me.

I've always really loved Barnes and Noble. I don't have any cool indie bookstores around where I live, so it's just always been my favorite.

My most favorite (ever) will always be Harry Potter. But I also have a whole slew of others I could list.

Richelle Mead's "Shadow Heir" is the first that comes to mind. You can read my review on GoodReads here, if you want to see how much I hated it. I don't want to relive that again lol

It's a tossup between If I Stay and Where She Went by Gayle Foreman.

Do you like to drink/eat while reading? If yes, what? (and how not to put stuff all over the books, eheh!?) Generally i don't eat whilst reading, but i do normally have some kind of tea :)

The first book you remember reading? hmm it would have been something like Peace at Last - Jill Murphy or the Little Bear and Old Bear books by Jane Hissey, but the first proper novel i remember reading was either The Illustrated Mum - Jacqueline Wilson or Noughts and Crosses - Malorie Blackman

Which fictional character do you think would be your best friend?  This is a really hard one, because i don't really feel i read enough books where the characters would be my friends for the basic reason that they're in completely different universes? (if that makes any sense) but idk make jace from tmi because we both like music and are sarcastic little buggers so...but also maybe someone like scott pilgrim, or kim from the scott pilgrim books because i am a nerd and kim shares my pessimistic nature :)

Are you from a family of readers or did you get in the “book reading business” by yourself? I come from a family who read a bit, but i'm definitely the one with the most books, but it all stems from my parents reading to me when i was little, so i guess yeah i'm probably from a family of readers :)

Which book would you like for everyone to read? THE ACCIDENTAL BY ALI SMITH (i just love this book and if you ask me to recommend you something it'll most likely be that..)

What do you think about the YA “phenomenon”?  it's a phenomenon? i don't think YA literature being a big thing is bad AT ALL, if books like this get people reading and interested in books, and give them an escape from reality for a bit, then it's all good with me, plus, it gives more books for everyone else to read because i'm probably borderline YA now but i love all the books so...

What is your favorite fantasy creature? (the genre or one particular character/creature?). If you don’t read fantasy, any kind of robots, fairytale creature or whatever you can think about… i love griffins, or maybe hydra from mythology, but i would probably say dragons because they're just so beautiful, and massive, and then they breathe fire, but they're also so elegant and intricate (but then i also love things like elves and fairies, and if we're going with humanoid creatures then VAMPS because i would totally be one and they're so dangerous and deadly but also beautiful and elegant and mysterious, but with the evil nature that i love...)

The biggest book you read? So far it's been Game of Thrones, but i have Don Quixote on my shelf and Anna Karenina and they're both pretty large...

Your favorite book series? Either sookie stackhouse orrrr the infernal devices, orr the mortal instruments, probably sookie wins actually

The book you reread the most? The only book i've actually read more than once is the accidental, but then i've been meaning to reread noughts and crosses for years, and i'm currently in the process of rereading city of bones

When did you start blogging about books? Do you have another book blog apart from tumblr? Wow according to my archive i started my book blog in january,but it feels a lot longer than that...although i've had tumblr for the best part of four years 

Do you read mangas? What kind? i don't actually, but i want to, i plan on stealing my brother naruto and death note and some point :)
