Ooh! Interesting question.

I would like him to do a lot of different things actually since he’s so versatile.

In terms of music I don’t really care what genre he does. He has proven himself to be capable of making many types of music equally well (from mainstream guitar-driven boy band pop to dance-able electronic r&b pop to trap-influenced hip hop just counting his work outside 1d) so it’s doesn’t matter much to me. As long as I get to hear his work and can support him I’m happy.

What I think best suits him is perhaps something similar to Frank Ocean but a bit more upbeat. Not only has Liam admitted to being a fan, their voices are quite similar so I can see it working out very well. Something kind of soft but where he can show off both his vocal and emotional range. I also want him to find his proper baritone voice again and do some old-school jazz a la Michael Bublé. Maybe a cover album or a christmas album. I know he did some of that pre-1D but I would like to hear what he’d do with it now.

What can I say, he’s great at what he’s doing and someone needs to make people recognize that. I don’t think most people understand the amount of talent and especially hard work it requires to do what Liam does. Not only is his voice gorgeous with great technique which can’t really be said for all the other boys, most of his time on stage is done doing harmonies. As someone who’s been in in choirs since I was 7-8 years old and a full-time alto since about age 11 (I’m 24 now) I can confirm that not singing melody/lead is really fucking difficult unless you got a good sense of pitch, and even then it can be a bitch to learn and do. I cannot state this enough. The fact he does it effortlessly and without complaining is still baffling. HE’S SUCH A VIRGO YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW Then when he brings any sort of attention to himself, such as a few extra notes here and there because it’s fun and he can, he’s extra and annoying? *insert that gif of Waka Flocka Flame saying ”okay” here*

Then we also have the fact that he’s a baritone in an industry and genre that is OBSESSED with tenors. It’s even gone to the point that he doesn’t acknowledge that part of himself anymore due to mostly using falsetto nowadays. FYI, voices don’t work like that at all.
