When the announcement had been made about Hyuncheol and Aecha getting married, Alex had to admit that he was a bit surprised. It wasn’t because he didn’t think that either of the two were ‘too good’ for the other, just that he hadn’t really expected such an announcement to be made. Though, most of the ‘shock’ came from how they had kept their relationship a secret for as long as they had without anyone even finding out about it.

Alex wondered how something like keeping a relationship secret was even possible in the entertainment industry, having seen other celebrities being ‘exposed’ with relationships in the past because they had been caught out on dates. He also wondered if he would have been able to do the same if he were in their shoes, being able to hide it as well as they had over the time that they had begun dating one another. Probably not.

The fact that the trainees were given the chance to perform for the soon-to-be married couple wasn’t something that Alex exactly was hating the idea of, in fact he was actually glad in a way to do some sort of performance for them in a way. Him, along with Daniel and a couple others, had decided on doing a performance with one another for the mini concert, spending the past few weeks practicing for this day as if everything depended on it. Maybe it was because he had been on a few stages before, or maybe because he had been filming for Future Dreams and experienced the nervousness that came with the show, either way he didn’t feel even a little nervous today.

Alex thought of this as just a normal day of practicing, as if it were them back in the practice room perfecting the dance moves along with their vocals as well so that they didn’t go off pitch or even screw up. Even as him and the other three males are standing there in front of the others from the company, dancing and singing along to the instrumental of the song that they had chosen, he’s honestly having fun and enjoying himself as they do. Each time that his part comes up, Alex sings and moves just like how they had practiced, making sure to keep eye contact with those who were watching.

By the end of their performance, Alex can’t help but feel a bit proud of not only himself but also the other’s that he was with for all of this. In his own mind, he thinks that they’ve done well and that all of the hard work they had put into all of this had been worth it in the end. Yes, this was just a little something for the soon-to-be husband and wife, however, the two were important people within the entertainment industry that others looked up to and so this had to go well no matter what.
