My first thought was like The Hood/Parker Robbins. He definitely feels like the kind of dummy that would let the queen of limbo peg him as a part of some dumb power move. Definitely thinking he’s in control when in reality Illyana just testing him seeing how far he’s willing to degrade himself.

My other idea as a Marvel Rivals fan was Luna Snow. The perfect K-pop star having an affair with a crazy lady who’s also a mutant. There’s tons of good ideas in there.

Oh, there's one clear frontrunner:

Leah of Hel, enthusiastic hell-wife from Battleworld.

They make a special kind of magic together.

There’s far too little art of Illyana and Leah together out there, so I had no choice but to have some made!

Had to request outfits from Dead Souls and Queen of Hel (aka the Leah with confirmed memories of her Illyana), of course. Poor Leah--I’m sure she’ll try to resist falling for a “copy” of her love when they finally meet, but resistance will be futile.

The few times that I’ve gotten commissions, my requests have basically boiled down to “Illyana hanging out casually with Kitty/Leah,” so you can’t really go wrong for me with either pairing, but here’s some more specific prompts for those interested (with bonus points for anyone at all doing Leah/Illyana, because there is precious little of it):

[Leah and Illyana lean against each other on a battlefield, tired after slaughtering a zillion demons, holding hands and smiling.]

[Leah and Illyana sharing a milkshake with two straws.]

[Kitty and Illyana are sparring with swords in the Danger Room (probably Logan is offering kendo lessons) and things get a bit intense. Because swords.]

[Kitty and Illyana being roommates and one of them teasing the other and refusing to stop until being interrupted by a kiss and losing her train of thought.]

[Either pairing fallen asleep in front of the TV, cuddled up.]

[Either pairing with some classic hurt/comfort, one taking care of her injured partner.]

Tyramir, you’re a prince among Tumblrers! I’ve never read a story sprinkled with easter eggs of things I keep posting about. :-)

Genuinely terrific, with a great grip on the characters and a good fix for the alternate-dimension-romance. “Angst with a happy ending” is totally my thing.

Katyana was always the OTP for me, and I was like

but I’ve always had sincere doubt that it was ever going to happen in canon. Never stopped me from shipping it, but it did put certain limitations on it.

So when Leyana came barging in out of nowhere like
