both klaus and caroline’s canonical last words in the tvdu were spoken to hope

based on all the info, my guess is that klaus’s cameo will be a callback to the necromancer’s “he won’t find peace until you do” line. á la tvd and to endings, we’ll close on a montage of all the characters, then a voiceover from hope saying something along the lines of “i finally found peace,” and then cut to klaus smiling down on her and being taken over by boat to the peace place.
