On Sunday, November 4, we are participating in the 2018 Dallas Buddy Walk® hosted by the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas (DSG).  The purpose of the Buddy Walk® is to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome while raising funds for an incredible organization that supports people with Down syndrome, their families, and the community year-round.  

The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas offers top-notch programs and services for people with Down syndrome and their families of all ages, resources and support to new and expectant families, conferences and seminars for families, educators, and health care professionals, and so much more.

It’s a fantastic cause and this year’s goal is US$20.000 so we got some work to do!!

Every year Jensen Ackles' family participate in supporting "Down Syndrome Guild Of Dallas" .They set up a donation page in Jensen's nephews name (who also suffers from Downs Syndrome) . All donors in the past have received a Thank you card signed by Jensen himself and a letter from Josh and Ali Ackles

I’ve seen other posts about this, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to make my own as well.  The Buddy Walk is an annual event to raise awareness and acceptance for people with Down syndrome.  The Guild “provides accurate and current information, resources and support for people with Down syndrome, their families and the community.”  

This is an event that Jensen and Danneel support every year.  I was delighted to see that Team Levi is the top team so far!

There are 51 days left to raise just under $40,000, which sounds like a lot, but only $800 per day is needed to easily reach this goal.
