Anyway I tried just completely relaxing and seeing what the process came out as and...

I have a new character!

Her name is Talyn, a starship captain

Talyn is a 50(ish) year old Levean starship captain that I first started making a little over a year ago. She's quite tall for a Levean at 5'10" (the same kind of tall as a human above 6'1").

She's one of Levea's most renowned healers, and very well respected in the medical field. She is one of the very few star captains in the Levean Spacefleet that has also served as Chief Medical Officer, and occasionally transfers to other ships to cover other medical positions.

She's married (or as close as Levean's get to marriage) to a hunter called Darlyn, whose son she helped to raise. They've been together for over 25 years, though the first seven of those years also involved Talyn's first partner.

Also she's a spy. Retired, technically, but she still gets called back for important jobs that might mean the difference between stopping a war or starting one. She spent nearly 20 years working for the Levean Spacefleet Intelligence Division (LSID), both before and during the war that happened on Earth (Accalyn's war).

Afterwards, she took the job as a Junior Medical Officer on a starship. This was partly to get away from it all, since for her own reasons the ongoing war was quite personal to her. Darlyn initially stayed on Levea to continue her job as hunter, but after Talyn's promotion to Captain she joined her as a security officer.

Another great fact about her is that she's absolutely beautiful,, I know I already posted this drawing and tbh it's a little outdated now but maaaan look at her,,

Fun fact! Her boobs in the above image are fake, since she likes to move between having them and not having them (she naturally doesn't).

That is about all the info I have atm that dodges major spoilers haha.

It's very easy for me to describe him as evil, or a villain, or a monster, but I also know that if he met another "evil villain" from something he would have absolutely no ground to relate, save for having killed people. If one of them mentioned how much fun it is, he would be ashamed to admit that he enjoyed it sometimes.

But then I thought, Accalyn as a person is very different from how he comes across. He's a monster only in method. He's a deeply empathetic individual, with a very strong motivation towards justice, and that's both his greatest strength and his most terrible flaw. His empathy for other species, and his feeling of powerlessness in himself, became burning hatred towards the oppressor.

In short, if you were experiencing injustice, he would be on your side. If you were in a situation where someone was holding power over you, he would help you. It's what he does.

In cases of Kadyn's, the individual is required to have both. Because their Aet'a works differently to other Leveans, using only one would be ineffective. Ot'aboran dissolve most of the signal, being purer in construction, but the remaining amount travels further around the body and must be absorbed. The Ot'akazyn, in these cases, absorb the remaining amount.
