Amused ðat my phone's Auto Correct is not only acceptiŋ but also suggestiŋ my abbreviated spelliŋs wiþ ðe letters eð, þorn, and eŋ, now. I've successfully converted it to Team Efficiency, roflol. 💀
Ðe funniest additions to its vocabulary are variations of “þiŋ.” “Þiŋy,” “þiŋamabob,” “þiŋamajig…” I just— 🤭
I'm absurdly happy cause I figured out that (on Android, at least) if you set your phone keyboard to English-Icelandic bilingual, then you can get the letter eth (Ðð, voiced “th” as in “this, that, and the other”) by holding down your “D” key and the letter thorn (Þþ, unvoiced “th” as in “pithy python thing with a thistle—” no, that's not a thing that anyone says at all; it was just the first thing I came up with) by holding down your “T” key, just like how holding down other buttons can get you other symbols normally. 👀
It's… It's both aesthetically and phonetically appropriate and everything… *vibrates excitedly*
Update: If you add Wolof and make your keyboard trilingual, you can also get the letter eng (Ŋŋ, the “ng” sound in “singing”) by holding down the “N” key! 😁 *More excited vibrating*
For some reason the Whole Foods logo spells their name with a lower case Eth.
So, it looks like Whthlefoods.
