                          He’s confused. Most of the time he can pinpoint the moment he’s annoyed someone -- but now, he’s completely baffled. Even a great detective such as he has difficulties concerning the most mundane and obvious problem ;; PEOPLE. His expression betrays his genuine confusion -- brows furrowed.... lips parted in frozen speech. He doesn’t understand and it UPSETS him... his intelligence is unparalleled but he simply can’t grasp relationships. It’s frustrating. 

                                 “Irene--” he pauses, though he DOES move when she tells him to. He isn’t in the habit of forcing her to do anything she doesn’t want to do, and that includes telling her where and when she can go. He does, however, place his hand on the door. “I don’t understand. I honestly don’t. Tell me, please.”

Oh, damn, The Woman. I just love her so much and this blog is one of my favourite rp ever. I constantly hear Irene’s voice when I read Brittney’s replies; idk if I ever achieve something like that. And saying that Brittneyis nice isn’t enough. She’s the living definition of a sweetheart, believe me.

   “Have you enjoyed yourself Mr. Holmes? I heard you liked a challenge. Though I must say, it did take you a bit longer to put together all the clues to lead you here than I expected.”

Rain pounded against the windows of the large former castle, dark clouds obscuring any stars or moonlight that would otherwise be out. The Woman stood next to the window, watching as the slayer entered into the seating area. Fire danced in the fireplace, fending off any chill that might have seeped into the room and cast a rather pleasant glow over the room.

     “Though perhaps I did make it a tad bit obscure with the last clue. I knew you’d figure it out. You’re clever. Far cleverer than any other slayer in recent centuries.”

Lips parted to flash a grin, and she remained calm. He could attack at any time, she knew that, but she was curious as to what he would do now that he had reached the end of his puzzle.

Wary eyes scanned the room as he entered, making notes of exits and hiding places. The setting was far too sterotypical, but he supposed that it fit the rest of this little game of cat-and-mouse. Sherlock would never admit it out loud, but he had enjoyed the chase more than usual. It wasn’t often that someone played along so willingly. A part of him was almost sad that it was over.

“ Not as much as I’ll enjoy the end of this little game. ” He mused, mentally reminding himself where each of his weapons were stored. His fingers twitched with anticipation. A shiver went down his spine as she smiled, an almost primal reaction. Only an idiot wouldn’t be afraid in this situation. Yes, he may be the best slayer in the area, but his opponents were equally formidable. The Woman was no exception -- in fact, she may be his greatest adversary so far.  He gave her a smile of his own, stepping into the middle of the room. Time for the grand finale.
