ThrowbackThursday was Arm Day for me, Biceps and Triceps. I do my Arm Days superset style as I explained on the last arm day I did. Today I was chasing the pump in a real way. Started the workout with Close Grip Cable Push Downs superset with Dumbbell Curls. Now I started with moderate weight Half the Stack on the Cables or less and 20LB dumbbell Curls. Here's the thing I could go heavy and swing and use my whole body to push down the cable but I chose to let my targeted muscle do all the work. My Biceps were on fire after doing 20 Curls for each arm because I wasn't swinging I was controlling the movement with the Bicep and nothing else. When I did the close grip tricep push downs, I let the triceps do all the work and kept the tension on the tricep. After about 4 sets of that, then I did two heavy supersets with the whole stack (200Lbs) and 60 and 70 pound Dumbbells for some low rep mass work, rep range was about 8-12 for the heavy weight and about 12-20 for the lighter weight. Overall good good workout for the arms and I'm starting to learn to let the muscle move the weight so it can grow instead of ego lifting for no gainz.
