So it’s the break between my classes and I’m thirsty. I forgot to bring any bottled water or juice with me, so I’m like hey, let me just go to one of those millions of vending machines they have on campus. I go down to the lower level of the building I’m in since those are the closest ones to me. They have the ones for drinks and snacks, and they even have the fancy ones for the drinks where there's a little robot arm that carries the drink from the selection to the drop box thing. It even has Starbucks drinks like the mocha and vanilla ones, and I’m debating between those and something slightly healthier but still loaded with sugar, like Gatorade or something. I try using my card, since it has a card reader. Denied, transaction cancelled by coin return. Idk what that exactly means but okay, I’m like I’ll use my cash instead. I try putting in my dollahs to make it hollah but it won’t take any. I try flattening them out and it still won’t and I’m kind of getting frustrated. Good things there’s another drink machine in that building so I go to that one and I put in my cash first and it takes it. I celebrate internally and I look at my selections. This one only has Pepsi products, so Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Dasani Water for like $1.75. A little high, but kind of normal price. I push my button and the machine makes a whirring noise. I just stand there and wait, but nothing drops. The screen on the front above the buttons with the pictures with the products on them goes back to saying 1.00 but none of my dollar bills comes back out. I am left standing there 2.00 short and still thirsty.

I always thought I would be married with a family by the age of 25. Why so young idk. That was my goal though. Lol looking back that was a stupid goal. See I grew up in a split home. Meaning my mom and my pops weren't together so on weekdays I was with one, and weekends I was with the other. Both of my parents were "players" I guess you can say. I think that cause neither one of them could ever keep a significant other. Idk if it was a choice or not. Over the years many relationships/ friendships and flings have came and gone. Lots of girls I thought were the "one" or the "it" girl. A lot of let downs. Etc etc etc. So moral of the story I'm going to be just like my parents. Either I'm going to be like my dad and have a different girl over every week. Not knowing what real love is. (If that shit even exist with this generation). Or I'm going to be like my mom and looking for love in everyone I meet.
