1. Your enthusiasm for life is so refreshing. That you find a line between bubbly and intelligent, sarcastic and sweet, and are always up for a laugh - you are a joy to be around. Even if you are only using me to get to some brownies. Your outgoing nature attracts people to you like magnets, and you don’t let things drag you down. It shows in the work that you do as well, bouncing between different types of roles and projects and responsibilities.
2. That you never back down from a situation because it takes a little bit of bravery and hard work. Whether it’s training to be the new kid on the Marvel block, taking on partnering with James to direct a play, or just weaseling food out of my grubby hands (impressive) you take impediments in stride, call on your talent, intelligence and grace to find a way forward, and go for it with everything you’ve got.Â
3. Your humility is, well, humbling. That you have accomplished things, been showered with accolades and have the kind of visibility and recognition many dream of - but few ever achieve - you would never know it for having a casual conversation with you. I’ve met a lot of people in this industry with half of your recognition and an nth of your talent who act like the sun shines out of their ass. With you, though - you’re down to earth, kind, and willing to admit you’re still figuring some things out as you go along. I admire how unfalteringly ‘normal’ (whatever that term may mean!) you’ve remained regardless of the many incredible things that have, and I’m sure will continue to come, your way.

I’m still not over how far you have come since your early days on United States of Tara. Seriously. It’s hard to believe that was one of your first major roles, I loved you on there and now you’ve come so far—mainly because you deserve that so much. You’re extremely talented and the fact that you’re now getting the recognition you deserve fills me with happiness.
You were such a sweetheart from the moment we first started talking when you moved into town. The world honestly needs more welcoming and kind-hearted people like you.
This might sound weird, but I get the sense that you’re also empathetic. Does that make any sense? Probably not, but. I get the vibe that no matter what happens, you’d always be there for someone else no matter how much time has gone since you’ve last talked to them.
