eyebrow shot up as conquest’s mocking voice brought his attention back to the present. he considers the horseman a moment, an amused huff leaving his mouth despite himself.

“ mocking me, are you? ” happy father’s day indeed. a small round of where each and every child of his skulked before he tilts his head. “ perhaps should i mold some offsprings of yours if you mock so freely. ”

he smirks at his partner, eyes narrowed in dark humor. imagining conquest battling an army of small celestials is almost cathartic.

“ see how you do then. ”

despite his words, despite his taut lips, he can imagine it, he can see it. what would be if a child they did have, not an army but a single one and it is a thought he rather ignore and hide far away in the deepest corner of his being. sometimes there are game he should not play for it came back to him tenfolds.
