Lord, my one prayer tonight is this:
Keep making me. Keep pushing me to be a better man, a man after You. Help me see with Your eyes, to feel with Your heart, and to hear Your voice clearly. Yesterday I was reminded of how failing I was. God convicted me of my words. How many times do I talk about me, me, me and how many times do I talk about Him? Where is my focus in this life? Why am I so selfish?
If I truly loved God, I should be boasting about Him. If I truly loved His people, I should be sharing the Gospel message rather than sharing about all the unnecessary worldly things in life.
God, how can I fixate my eyes upon You and Your Will? How can my everyday be revolved around glorifying Your Name? Please teach me.
