Instigate (Original Action/Adventure/Lesbian Story) Part 3
The night came and Amanda knew her decision was going to cost her something more valuable than money, even if she didnât know it before hand she had a sixth sense for moments like these. There she was, in the middle of a clusterfuck, like she loves to say. One side was Alinaâs father with a devilish smile, the other side was Alina with Marcos with a confused look. Alina had a heartbroken glint in her eyes and Amandaâs heart sank all the way down; she had hurt her, deeply.Â
âYou are... the woman in the wooden chair, arenât you?â Alinaâs vocals were to the point, but soft in a sad way. She was remembering details she let escape during those months they interacted with each other. âYes.â Amanda said, looking to the floor guilty as hell but decided not to fall victim of her own emotions. She took her black contacts off, they were bothering her anyways; her hair was already long enough to make a bun in her head and she also took the black leather jacket off, revealing her delicate features underneath. She also stopped talking like an english woman, going back to her regular accent (which was kind of latina by the way, who knows).
Alinaâs father broke the tension with an evil laughter that sounded stolen from a crappy horror movie. âShut the fuck up.â Amanda said pointing a gun at him with no second thoughts. The old manâs laughter died in his throat and stayed stiff in his place. Alinaâs lips parted a bit, trying to process this whole thing. âNow, that the family is reunited and everyone is silent, it is time to finish this claustrophobia of a moment.â Amandaâs attitude changed completely from the âcoolâ looking tomboy girl to her original form, the sassy, sarcastic femme fatale bitch she was, funny too.Â
Amanda saw Marcos moving his hand slowly into his pocket, trying to reach his gun unnoticed and while he thought he was triumphant in touching it for a second Amanda just shot at the floor close to his feet to make him stop. âDrop it, handsome.â Both Alina and Marcos were startled, Marcos dropped the gun and his hands went into the air hoping Amanda didnât shoot him in the face next. âJoe, we were in this together, please.â He said trying a psychology technique or something. âThe names Amanda, thank you very much, and I DONâT give a shit, doctor.â She said like if he was some kind of therapy specialist, those she hated with all her guts. Marcos just shut his mouth in response, his teeth were going to break with how hard he was biting inside his mouth.
âLike I was saying; You fucker, owe me money. You two, do whatever you want after I leave.â She was pointing at everyone with her gun, starting to get really annoyed. âWhat money, what did you do?â Alina asked now, she was still in denial apparently, but her eyes were notably furious. âYour asshole of a father owes me money for killing all of your âdetective effortsâ against him.â Amanda replied, with a winning voice. âYou didnât delete anything, I made you think you did.â Alinaâs response was swift and she showed part of her teeth with a sided smile. âYou ARE going down with HIM.â And as soon as Alina finished her words, a bunch of cops started to enter the abandoned building they were in.
Amanda was quick to understand what was happening though and somehow escaped, not without exchanging bullets with some of the cops along the way and using some of her martial arts knowledge to hurt instead of killing. It was hard not to kill, but she couldnât add cops to her list of enemies.Â
âFucking dumbass.â Amanda was cursing herself and her lack of noticing what the fuck was actually going down that night. Alina didnât want her father dead, (duh! obviously), but she didnât expect her to be working with the police! of all kinds of people! And she didnât even tell her, of course she didnât, why would she? She was intelligent enough to omit most if not all of her fucking plans, she was just another grunt worker to her, dammit.Â
âDo you think she will ever come back?â Marcos asked Alina what seemed to be a stupid question. âOf course not. And even if she did, I wouldnât forgive her.â Alinaâs aura felt somber than usual and Marcos was trying to thread lightly about the âJoeâ conversation. âIâm sorry she ended up being traitor, I would never do such a thing...â Marcos was trying to give Amanda some dirt so he would receive praise thanks to her wrong decisions, but he stank of desperation. âIâm not in the mood for your âmachoâ moments, see you around.â Alina left the guy with all the cops âpaperworkâ stuff in purpose, so he would leave her the hell alone.
Alina was more heart broken than ever, she couldnât stop thinking about Amandas real version, her personality and her way of carrying herself. She knew something was off about her since the first day they met, but even though most of her act was fake, there were some things that were real. For example; when Amanda risked her life for hers, she ran and took Amanda in her arms, she really thought she was dead, but instead she was greeted with a loving look on her eyes. Amanda put her delicate fingers on her face and asked if she was ok, she didnât seem to care about her own arm that was bleeding at that moment, and she didnât think that small interaction that felt as short as seconds was fake at all. âFucking liar...â Alina said below her breath, she was angry either way and at the same time wanted to see her again. Why? She didnât know.
A week or so went by and Alina did what she said she wasnât going to do, search for Amanda. She wanted to find her but didnât know what for. Was she going to kill her? No. She wanted to see her and yell at her, tell her how much she hated her soul and how much she wanted to punch her guts. She went out of her way to visit her father in jail, just to find some info on her whereabouts or how to even find her. At first he wasnât giving in at all, but in the end she convinced him by offering him a favor in return, a favor she didnât even know what it was, until it was claimed by him. At that point she didnât care what he wanted later on, she just wanted to find the woman haunting her dreams, and found her she did, this time she went alone to meet her.
Amanda in the other hand had an appointment for apparently an easy job. She wasnât going to accept it at first, but took pity on the guy that was crying like a little bitch over the phone; he wanted to confirm if his wife was cheating on him or not, typical. Even though it sounded like a weird interaction over the phone she decided to have some fun and arrived to the desolated parking lot the guy explained vaguely. âNot creepy at all...â She wasnât scared at all but the place seemed desolated at first. âIâve been looking for you all this time.â Amandaâs heart froze when she heard that voice, it was Alina, she called her name a thousand times inside her mind, she was probably going to die today though.Â
âWhat for? A date?â Amanda tried to mask her feelings behind her usual sarcastic self. âI canât believe the AUDACITY you have to keep on your life like nothing ever happened.â Alina exploded walking with a fast pace towards the other woman, her heels could be heard echoing along and that made Amanda nervous... again. âIt was hard finding you and I sacrificed some things to do so. But I came here to tell you right in your face THAT...â A sudden sniper shot was heard, not giving Alina enough time to finish her line.Â
Amanda lowered herself to the ground automatically and her eyes went right to Alinaâs, mostly to check if she was ok or not; she didnât know why that was always her first reaction regarding the safety of the other woman. Alina copied her stance and noticed Amandaâs look, but decided to ignore it, she wanted to discover where the shot came from first. âI think theyâre looking for you. How many enemies have you made? They must be many, Iâm guessing.â Alina said sarcastically, giving what she said for a fact. âThat shot wasnât for me, dummy.â Amanda replied in a huff, âstating the obviousâ. She got closer to Alina to grab her hand and pulled, guiding her to a safe area. â... Come.â She was doing it again, saving her life.Â
âWho was it for then? Me?â Alina asked dumbfound following Amanda, but not by choice, more like for her own survival since she didnât trust her that much anymore. âYour father isnât the loving type, I assume. Even less when you sent him to jail.â Amanda said in a murmur trying to find an explanation to the whole situation. Everything came crashing down into Alinaâs mind, she realized it could be true; her father sent to kill her mother in a heartbeat when she was a child, sending to kill his own daughter would be an easy task.Â
But Alina remembered; he wouldnât be so stupid to send someone after her when she offered him a juicy favor, he wouldnât dare to lose that, whatever it meant. âEven though we hate our guts, he wouldnât do it, I owe him something.â She said the last words tentatively, not wanting to explain further. Amanda heard another shot and suddenly pulled Alina, a bit too much it seemed, because Alina landed on her chest and then the force pushed both onto the closest wall. Alinaâs hands were resting on Amandaâs shoulders and thats when she noticed Amanda was a bit taller than her. Her eyes went wide for a moment and Amandaâs blued eyes rested on hers after seemingly inspecting her lips for a mere second... or she didnât?
Alina pushed herself off of her and turned around, I guess she is still angry at me, Amanda thought. âYou donât owe him anything.â Amanda said keeping the conversation going, trying to ignore what just happened between them. âBut anyways... I donât think this guy is for me, if it were someone sent to kill me, they wouldnât be such a low class killer.â âWhat do you mean, that Iâm a cheap target?â Alina asked annoyingly, taking it a bit far too personal, being blinded by her angry emotions towards Amanda right at that moment.Â
âJesus Christ lady, that wasnât what I meant at all. What I meant is; that Iâm a very hard to kill target. Usually I get sent after me some top class professionals, at least to try.â Amanda tried to explain but realized after a minute that she sounded full of herself; she saw Alina turn her head to the side with her eyebrows meeting in the middle, she was real angry with her and that made her feel... uncomfortable? But even though she was mad at her, Amanda appreciated how beautiful she was... she was a gorgeous lady.
âI guess you were also acting when you âsaved meâ, huh?â Alina asked out of nowhere doing the quoting fingers into the air, if what Amanda said was true, that she was so âhard to killâ it meant that she was also acting when she saved her. Amanda knew she somehow made a mistake with the wording, and understood why Alina would doubt about that day, she deserved all the doubts in the world after all. She fell silent and didnât answer, it was for the best, it seemed.
The sniper ended up being a lousy one, just like Amanda thought he was going to be; that meant they would be able to get out of there easily. âLetâs get out of here.â Amanda took Alinaâs hand again, guiding her this time to the exit of the building, which they found in a couple of minutes. The sniper must of have thought they were still inside the building because they left without anyone following behind. A couple of minutes went by and Amanda was able to convince Alina to enter her car.
âI donât need you to give me a ride, I can take care of myself.â Alina said crossing her arms, to Amanda she looked adorable, just like a child would in a similar situation. âYeah, yeah, yeah... Shuddup and put your seatbelt on, my child.â Amanda said giving a playful smile, even though she knew Alina wanted to kill her and Alina just rolled her eyes and did what she was told.
To be continued...
