Tickletober Day 7: Massage

summary: vision offers to give you a massage after training with steve
Alright. Maybe asking Steve to mentor you was, in hindsight, a bad decision.
You loved the super soldier. He was your best friend and the two of you had an exceptional mentor/mentee relationship while working, but training with him was beginning to feel like training for an MMA fight… with Thanos himself.
You waddled into the common room, unsurprised to see Bucky, Peter, and Thor playing some multiplayer war game on the TV. You grunted in discomfort as you sat down in the free chair next to the couch the boys were playing on.
“Don’t you guys ever get tired of playing these games? I mean Buck, you literally fought in a war… back in the 40s AND last year now that I think about it. And Thor, I’m sure you’ve seen and fought in many,” You said, positioning yourself to get comfortable. “Why are you constantly playing?”
“It’s more fun this way. Real wars aren’t fun,” Bucky responded with a flat tone, keeping his focus on killing Peter’s character.
“Yes, I agree, now SHH!” Thor bellowed. “I have to win this round.”
You chuckled in amusement, but it was brief because as your ribs expanded, a sharp pain shot up your back. You hissed and froze for a few moments before exhaling slowly, settling back into the cushions with a screwed-up face.
“Are you alright, Miss Y/N?” Visions calming voice came from across the common room where he’d been watching the teen, super soldier, and God play their video game. It had become part of his routine to try and learn about things that humans do in their everyday lives.
You grimaced and nodded. “Oh, yeah, Vis, I’m okay. I just finished training with Steve and he really pushed my limits today, so I’m just a little sore.”
Bucky snickered and shook his head, but kept his attention on the screen. “When will you learn that training with Steve will only ever end up like this.”
“I’ll get used to it at some point, okay? It’s only been a few months,” You dictated, trying to defend yourself. “Anyway, we sparred a lot today and now my back keeps seizing up.”
“Wanda has had the same problems with Ms. Romanoff recently. She comes back to her room in a lot of pain,” Vision said.
“Mm, send her my condolences. Nat’s not an easy opponent, either.”
“The last time she returned from training she asked me for a massage. I wasn’t sure I’d be much good at it, but she assured me that it helped alleviate her pain. Would you like me to try?” He continued, offering his services.
“O-Oh, Vis, no. I couldn’t ask you to do that! Really, I’ll be okay in a few days,” You said back in protest.
“You did not ask, I offered. Though, if you are put off by the idea of it, I will drop the subject. But if you are only denying the request because you think Wanda will be upset, rest assured that she will not be.”
You tossed his proposal around in your head. Vision wasn’t very well-versed on human experiences—hence why he was always floating around the tower to observe the mundane things we do—but if Wanda felt better after her massage, then maybe he knew what he was doing.
And you and Wanda were best friends, so she knew you had your eyes on Bucky. Visions hands all over me wouldn’t bother her in the slightest.
Sighing, you shifted in your seat again. “Actually, if you really don’t mind, that would be fantastic,” You stated sheepishly. Vision stood from his own seat and in mere seconds he was behind your chair, placing his hands on top of your shoulders.
“Please speak up if you feel any discomfort,” Vision ordered before kneading his thumbs into the muscles behind your neck. Before you could agree, a visceral groan came from your throat. Instantly, your hand covered your mouth in embarrassment.
“Ah! S-Sorry, I just wasn’t-AH expecting it.”
“It’s quite alright. Does this hurt?” Vision asked with as much genuine concern in his voice as he could as an android.
“No, it’s helping, I promise. Thanks, Vis,” You replied. After that, you tried keeping your vocalizations to a minimum. A quiet moan here and there for when Vision hit a sensitive spot, but other than that, you melted into his fingertips. Wanda was absolutely right, he was good at this.
You settled into it a bit more as he moved lower and lower, but the exact second Visions hands poised at your lower back—his fingers resting on your sides—you jerked forward with a squeak.
“I apologize. Is that painful for you?” The android questioned you again. You hid your face in your hands to hide your embarrassment, hearing Bucky chuckle from where he was sitting.
“It didn’t hurt ‘em, Vision. They’re just too ticklish to handle it.”
“BUCKY!” You hissed. “You… you can’t just tell people that!”
Bucky shrugged, going back to his game. “Everyone kind of already knew anyway. You laugh really loud when I tickle you.”
Groaning, you flip the super soldier off before resuming your previous position. “You can continue, Vis. It’s working, but I am really sensitive. I’ll just try not to move.”
“As you wish,” He proclaimed, placing his thumbs at the base of your spine and using your sides as traction. You inhaled sharply to try and contain your reactions, but a ticklish smile began to form on your face. You were so busy trying to keep still, that you hadn’t even noticed the three boys who had stopped their game just to watch you in amusement.
“Doing alright there, doll?” Bucky asked with that stupid, teasing lilt to his voice.
“Shuhut up.”
“You do seem to be quite ticklish, Y/N,” Vision noted as he kept massaging your back muscles. “I have to say that even Wanda isn’t this sensitive.”
He moved his thumbs closer to your sides, meaning his fingers inched towards your belly, and this time you weren’t able to hold back your giggles.
“Dahahamn ihit!” You laughed as you arched away from Vision. He retracted his hands and waited patiently for you to recoup. “I-hi think I’m done, Vis. Thanks for all your help.”
“My pleasure,” He responded back. You could have sworn you heard a hint of mischief in his tone, but that’s crazy because he—
“AH! VIHIHISION!” You screeched, falling backwards into the chair as he purposefully squeezed at your ribs.
“Sorry, friend, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I had no idea you were so ticklish before today.” The android was picking up on human experiences fairly quickly considering he knew exactly how to tickle you to tears.
Note to self: no more massages.
