Daniela is going to be the death of me. (And by extension @lepusrufus, yes I blame you for this). Because apparently there is a thing called “Camouflage Fashion”, and it is more than just military or camo pants.
I guess this is a summer look for when you go into the woods and don’t want to be found? Honestly, I have no complaints about this, other than the question of why would you? I understand, I do, but still it’s... why?
I officially like the first one more than this. It’s a formal, floor length skirt. Why? I want to see the whole thing, because you can’t just have a skirt this active and not have a top to wear with it. It’s almost like a circus tent, except not.
Now, apparently the majority of camo fashion are just suits and pants and tops done in the patterning, so I don’t see the need to share them here. Everyone’s seen it, after all. That being said, there are other styles of camouflage that exist. More photo-realistic.
And naturally, the Americans have taken it and run away with the idea.
Why yes, that is a camouflage dress, lined in hunter orange. The cut of the dress is fine, but if it were a darker burnt orange, I’d like it better.
Interesting flash of color, so perhaps keeping this bright of an orange is a good idea. Maybe. Honestly, I’m trying not to think about this too much. The only reason I’m doing this Lookbook is because Daniela is giving me sad puppy dog eyes. It also appears to be laced up in the back, if that orange ribbon is any indication.
In case you’re curious, yes, they have other lining colors. The blue lets your eyes rest and relax.
All right, so this? It’s actually quite lovely, if only for the pattern on the material. If I wear making an even more high-end version or custom creation, I’d add metallic thread and maybe a bit of gems or beadwork. Just enough to accent, not overwhelm.
A camouflage wedding dress. No, I’m not making this. Ever. Alcina would kill me. She’ll probably killing me for even associating this Lookbook with Daniela.
I have one question. WHY DOES PINK CAMOUFLAGE EXIST?! I mean, it’s nice with the camo design and it works somewhat with the lace, but... why?

At this point I think I should only be allowed to draw two things: Monsters and things that are technically self portraits. I was going to include a drawing I did of someone else's OC, but it went... poorly, and I'm hoping to do another (presumably better) version sometime soon.
