i've been reading A Field Guide to the English Clergy by Revd Fergus Butler-Gallie and this quote made me think of @canisalbus poor dear Machete

Day 2 of drawing Vasco and Machete as everything but dogs: Apatosauruses.
The characters are based on the dog characters from @canisalbus. I absolutely love their characters and adore the relationship Vasco and Machete have.
Fun fact about Apatosauruses: The name Apatosaurus comes from Greek words meaning 'deceptive lizard'. The scientist who named this dinosaur, Othniel Charles Marsh, felt that some of the fossil bones were confusing to identify. They seemed to resemble the bones of a sea reptile.
