Jumpstart clearly doesn’t care about Neopets nor its userbase and is basically leaving the site to die as they desperately try to make bank on nostalgia value Leopets seems promising but its easy to forget they only allow registration submissions once a month, and even then if you do remember there’s no guarantee you’ll be accepted in (also I’ve heard they allow creeps onto the site but I do not know how true that is) Neopets classic is in an indefinite closed beta this is hell I just wanna get back into neopets man :(

in the wake of neopets NFTs, i'd like to remind everyone that leopets is NOT a good alternative. the staff actively defended zoophilia, pedophilia, harrassment, and art theft, and banned 20+ people (most of the active userbase) for speaking up against it. that's not even the only awful thing they've done, and the site is even more broken than original neo.
try moderneopets! I'm not personally fond of the neopets classic staff either, but they're still a much better option than leopets.
