Everyone go read DD vol 1 issue 72 right now for how dd writers made one of the coolest side characters ever and NEVER BROUGHT HIM BACK! Tagak is a blind leopard that has a mental connection with his leopard, Opar, that allowed him to see through the big cat's eyes. They both came from a mirror crystal dimension that has a lot of potential of being its own world but was never brought up again in later issues nor in later volumes. Tagak and Matt go through a misunderstanding until working together to help stop the thief that stole an ancient artifact from Tagak's dimension that was important to his religion. So many missed opportunities to include Tagak in later adventures and to explore the mystery behind his world, but marvel said no, Matt can't have blind friends so there's that 🙄. I made my own redesign of Tagak and made it that he has a psychic connection to the leopards of his world where they describe what's going on around him to help him fight. Also, Matt and Tagak are friends, stayed friends, and Matt visits him in his dimension by going through the special mirrors. I have normal thoughts about random DD characters that show up for one time, trust me. DO NOT TAG AS M/CU

The context behind this is that Matt fought against the Leopard Lord who is looking for a stolen artifact and used a leopard to fight Matt, and as he was bandaging himself up, Matt kinda just, lost himself for a minute there. I don't know, it's just classic Matt losing his gourd at simple moments from too much emotional baggage. Get help king <3
