#im not sure if i agree with this#yes its not like choosing to have chocolate or canilla ice scream since its a fight till the end but in the end you ultimately make that las#its not to say that you are 100% saying i am ending your life but its not like you arent#sure its the emotions and the hopelessness swaying you to do you but you are giving in to them and ending it#you deserve more help and more ppl pulling you back but yes in the end you decided to die#it is a choice but just because we use the word choice does not mean others should interpret it as someone being weak or whatever#because im sure even if they caved in the end it wasnt a decision they made lightly and it was a horrible struggle that someone and others i#so yes its like cancer and other diseases in a way but honeslty you do have a little more choice in depression#however small it is

Mental illness is an illness. Full stop. It is not something you control, it is not something you have the option to choose one way or another. People who kill themselves from mental illness do not want to die. Their brains are, quite literally, killing them.  It is horrible, it is awful, and it is far far worse because the world insists on telling us that it is something they could have *chosen* not to do. It's like telling someone having an asthma attack that they are choosing to limit their oxygen supply.

I'm keeping this polite and profanity free even though I could sound the hell off right now. I'll just leave this here, because it says it better than I could.
