My heart rate soars like a bird

Flying high in the sky.

Flying through the canyons of your soul

I get to know you

Don’t know if I like what I see

It’s a love hate relationship

With my face and body

Wanna know how to love me right

Wanna know how to take care of my health alright

Sinking, when I’m tryina swim

It’s an uphill battle that I’m gonna win.

It takes time to get your mind right

Put in effort because you’re always worth the fight.

So much love to be given

I like to see your eyes on me

Smile creeping on your lips

As your eyes outline my body.

The way they glow

The way they yearn...

Sparks fly

Body tingles

I want you.

Hands caressing me softly,

As your lips meet mine.

I feel my heart rate quicken.

Time has stopped

We are in our own little bubble.

I love it when you hold me close.

Taking in the way you feel and smell.

So many thoughts swirling in my brain yet I’m not grasping anything concrete.

just a whole bunch of topics that I go about discussing throughout the week.

My goal is to think of nothing.

Turn off my brain from the constant contemplation

The constant self criticism.

To be in a calm, peaceful, silent state.

Meditation if you must.

Taking the time to learn about myself.

Enjoy my own company

I don’t feel like I pay enough attention to me.

But i take in the comforting feeling of love.

Love for me.

Love for my struggle

Love for my progress

Love for my experiences

For they mold my character.

I am a mix of failure and success.

A journey from the start to the finish,

I can’t comprehend how this could happen.

Twisty twisty

Dark inside.

I’ve managed to manage my mind

Bouncing back from a dark state in my cranium

On the move

Blooming

Peace within is what I’m tryina find.

Effort and time

Become valuable currency

Loyalty is hard to come by,

But if you got it best believe that it’s a blessing!

We all want love

We all want to be cherished

Don’t waste your breath on those who can care less.

Love yourself and those who are there

Blood doesn’t define family

There’s some you can’t pick

Theres some you can choose.

We’re never as lonely as we think we are.

My inner self beaming as your tender words fill me up to the brim.

My heart thus pumping love and appreciation as my lips reveal all that I’m feeling inside.

No words can truly describe the feeling I get when I look into those eyes and see the glorious soul that is yours.

Good thoughts bouncing around in my head,

I no longer think that happiness is far from my grasp.

I no longer believe that I am meant to wallow in sadness, forced by God to let happiness slip from my fingers.

God is within me.

Therefore I am holy and significant.

Yes I am but one soul,

Yes I am but one voice,

Yes I am but one ray of light..

But one ray, is all you really need.

It starts the chain reaction to spreading the warmth and comforting feeling of kindness.

It is the spark needed to ignite the wild fire of love.

Love for your neighbor,

Love for yourself.

Love for your enemy.

The feeling is contagious.. with the burning sensation of love in your heart, do not let it falter.

Do not forget how lovely you are.

No matter how imperfect you may seem.

For as long as you try to spread love and positivity,

For as long as you try to keep an open mind,

The universe will guide you back to the light.

Go out and be brave to face the opposing darkness,

You will find you are stronger than your despair.

Ocean breeze blowing through my hair.

It softly whispers don’t worry,

The cool water

Washing away my worries.

I walk along the shore

I find what I’ve been looking for.

Peace.

Contentment.

My mind no longer running at 100mph

Fresh air filling my lungs,

I shed sadness like a snake skin.

I’m able to breathe again.
