A Girl and her Horse

This is my entry for @lemonheadart 's DTIYS Challenge! (See the challenge here) 

I've not gotten a chance to physically play Breath of the Wild, but I HAVE played Echoes of Wisdom and absolutely adore it. It's a game with puzzles, horses, lovely music, and smoothies, what's not to love? =D

Anyway, this is my first horse from EoW, an adventurous mare you rescue at the start of the game. I named her Clover. Or Clover Guinevere to make her more fancy. I couldn't decide >u< Also I promise I can draw accurate horses, I just love the game's art style and wanted to try and reference it XD It turned out kind of cute I think. Tri was especially fun! I love this new texture bruuuush >=D

I did a bit of a spin on @lemonheadart's DTIYS--thanks for the fun prompt!! (Please tell me somebody gets this reference...)

This would be Blossom, my very first horse. She was sturdy and reliable, and put up with my poor handling of the controls. I always gave her lots of pats to make up for it.

It was so difficult to choose my favorite horse, but in the end I settled with Spruit (Dutch for sprout). I simply caught him because I really liked how he looked and he’s my first horse that really stayed with me. What stood out to me is that he doesn't have any long hair at his fetlocks. Which seems special to me. He’s a very fast and strong horse. I head canon that he’s retired in TOTK. My favorite old boy haha. 

I used Jesse Drent as a reference picture, since I think Link would share his kind of horsemanship and love for horses.

I drew this picture first, but decided it wasn’t really something I wanted. (only after I was done with the whole thing oemf). So I decided to draw the picture above. I'm happy I made that change!

Hellooo I should be doing my art homework from school but instead I participated in the Draw this in your style special hosted by Lemonhead

So here I am I drew my horse Risk from totk, he‘s called that way bc when he was a wild horse he just ran trough the gleeok located on the Hylia bridge WHILE HE WAS SPITTING FIRE AT ME (sry if this sounds weird idk the english formulation for that) but after that he became my knight horse that I always fought monsters with! And for some reason I decided that the knight armour helmet is my signiture fit so thats why he wears that now too

So anyways congratulations @leamonheadart for 500+ followers!

My entry for @lemonheadart 's DTIYS! I used my first horse in BotW for this, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out (aside from the fact I'm not going to fix the tail idk how to shade that).

I named my horse 'Horsey', incredibly original I know, mostly because I didn't realise you get to name your horse and didn't have anything planned.

Took a very pretty screenshot as reference for this and then promptly decided to not draw the very pretty background (when do I ever?)
