Day 22: Day 2 revisited - Fave Rookie Actor Pairing?

I'm not even gon hold you, I don't remember who I chose (I'm fairly certain it was BossNoeul tho). But I think I'm going to choose...

Sailub Hemmawich and Pon Thanapon. I wasn't even checking for them! I was legit watching Pit Babe for the familiar faces (Pavel, Nut, Benz, and Michael) but then Sailub stepped on the scene and I was like HELLO? WHO IS THIS BEAUTY?? And then Pon stepped on the scene and I was like WAIT! I DIDN'T EVEN COME HERE FOR THIS!

AlanJeff stole my heart and secured a spot for SailubPon. The way SailubPon had me foaming at the mouth by the end of PB and the way they had me excited for Long Beans. SailubPon have amazing chemistry and they legit have some of the best love scenes ever! I love that they keep getting the same sort of character dynamics: DILF x Bratty Youngster. That sort of pairing eats every time for me. Also they look GORGEOUS together. I can tell they have a fun time together. I adore them and can't wait to see them again in PB S2.

Hon Mentions to BenzGarfield because my gawd are they epic together.

Li Le and Wang Yunkai. Li Le is not really a rookie actor but Yunkai is most definitely new and this is both their first BL series together so technically they are rookies. IDK the math is all there. Anyways I ADORE LeKai together. They both seem to have so much fun and they understood their characters well and they really seemed to enjoy doing the series together. They have insane chemistry and fluid motion and solid acting. THAT KISS?? THAT KISS! THAT FUCKING KISS!! Have I mentioned that the abundance of dimples between them makes me cry with joy?? They're both insanely pretty and adorable and sweet and cute and all the things that makes a ship so very shippable.

Never once did I feel like anything they did in that series was over the top which could easily happen in a Wuxia. I fear LeKai is going to be a one and done pairing so I'm going to enjoy them together for as long as I can and I wish nothing but happiness and success to them both. I hope they ride this MYATB train as long as they can because the fans LOVE them and they deserve all the hype and recognition because they changed history together. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MYATB SPECIAL SCENES! Not so secretly hoping we get another series from them.

Oh I LOVE my toxic lil HuaiBao. I love how absolutely unhinged Huai'en is when it comes to Xiaobao especially because he doesn't particularly care about anything else. He is willing to destroy the entire world if he can't be by Xiaobao's side for the rest of his days. He will risk his life for Xiaobao's because it means nothing if Xiaobao isn't in it.

I love that Xiaobao is so clumsy and carefree and filled with love. He just collects forlorn people like Pokémon and shower them with unwavering love. I love that he offered to teach Huai'en how to love and be loved. I love that he fell in love with him immediately. I love how much Xiaobao dotes on Huai'en. I love that he stood so firmly against getting back together when Huai'en came back into his life. He wasn't afraid of being killed, he was going to forgive Huai'en when he was good and ready and there was nothing Huai'en could do to force him. I love that even when he "hated" Huai'en he still looked out for him. Still worried about him.

I love how Huai'en went through the motions when he was trying to slide back into Xiaobao's life, like Xiaobao had him crashing out. I love how explosively jealous Huai'en is and Xiaobao just flashes his dimples and Huai'en folds like a shirt. I love that Xiaobao makes Huai'en tap into every single emotion he has. I love how much Xiaobao dotes on Huai'en and wants to shower him with gifts. I love that Huai'en takes the status as Xiaobao's wife. They are a mess but I do love them to bits and I am super excited for whatever special eps we're going to get.
