Thought I’d lost this little guy for a few days, hidden in the bubble wrap it arrived in, and I was sweating buckets, as it was quite a bit of a splurge for me. From what I can tell I got the old formulation of @biologique_recherche ‘s #legrandeserum, as the ingredients look exactly the same to the one I have been using. All I need is two drops of this golden elixir, packed with 90% active ingredients (27 of them), leaves the skin plumped and glowing, helps prevent premature aging (although I think prevention is a little late for me). I’ve realized I actually like these finishing serums in a dropper form than spray, so I like getting them in these smaller 8ml bottles instead of the 30ml. These are used over moisturizers (although if you are younger this particular serum is so rich it could be used in place of a moisturizer). For those who don’t use BR, you may be wondering what a “finishing serum” is, well it has a larger molecular structure than your usual serum, so sits on the top layer of the skin to Finishing serums are not meant to be absorbed into skin as our regular serums tend to do. They were built to sit on top of skin as a protective shield, enhancing the ingredients below it, amplifying their efficacy. When I first started using BR I thought: what? I need another serum?!
