I decided to try brown. And I realised there are no brown lipsticks in the market! Berry, nude, rust yes but no true browns. Imagine what a shock that is for someone who entered makeup at the height of the 90s brown everything wave! So I improvised with combos from my old lippie stash - a @facescanada #LustOn with a touch of #VeryBerry and overlaid with @lorealmakeup #LeGold. I don't think it still made it to a true brown, let alone the verve that let us 90s people make brown glamorous. An experiment to concoct that perfect grass green. I haven't found a good green lipstick and my attempts so far are to nought. This is @nyxcosmetics Pistachio (which is a chalky neon) stippled atop @lorealmakeup #LeGold. I rather hoped that the gold would add some yellow to the green and make it less neony. The result wasn't much different so I dabbed a little @nyxcosmetics Alien into the corners resulting in this steely metallic hue. I don't mind this at all but I already have a grey by way of @nyxcosmetics #StoneFox.
