Yeah, that’s the one! For the nonnie who’d asked about the Shakerlicious upper cabinets being shiftable...Try that. I’m guessing that it’s the curtain one that’s making it work, but I could be wrong.

I’ll upload that one sometime in the next day or two, then. I’ll leave the furnishings and deco, if you like, except for the stuff that I have a billion recolors of. If ya wanna keep the farmy/rustic-y look, I do recommend Mustluvcatz’s braided recolors of Nengi’s rugs, though.

And yeah, 2-story rooms. I kind of want these to have a sort of airy feel to them, to maybe make up for the fact that there’s no (or at least very little) electrical lighting. And I just like the look of them, too, perhaps because in real life I have a touch of claustrophobia. Unfortunately, the game’s lighting engine just doesn’t light them very well, in that light won’t bleed from one floor to another. I’ve put in some cheaty two-story lights to hopefully light those spaces better at night. We’ll see if it works when I actually play them. :)

Yay to no more problems!

It is definitely a relief! At the end, the fan on the old video card was sounding very crunchy even when I was just surfing the web and stuff on this thing. I’d taken to using the tablet more, to preserve it. This one is a little bit of a newer model, and it seems to handle big neighborhoods with lots of deco (and neighborhood-flora merging turned off so that more of it is visible from on-lot) faster. So, good all around, so far. :)

Some did make them shiftable, I have them in my game. (Well, just 1 of each but then that's all you need.) Only problem is that the file names are the same and I can't remember who did it.

You’re right! It was HafiseAzale who made the shelves from the Kitchen Basic set shiftable and did other tweaks to the set. I only know that because I have them downloaded but haven’t installed them yet. I haven’t decided if I need to, since I hardly ever use the shelves from the KB set, anyway, because I’m not much of a “clutterer.” But all the wall stuff that comes with the Shakerlicious set seems to be shiftable, at least with the shifting mods I have installed.

Can't say I ever saw a pig farm that beautifully manicured! XD This reminds me that I am forever bummed by the fact that TS2 never got a Farm EP. :(

True, but I’ll bet that if any pig farm would be beautifully manicured, it’d be an Amish one! Seriously, I don’t know how they do it. As much as I’m joking about religious wackos and such, I actually really do admire the Amish. Sometimes, there are days when I seriously want to chuck it all and live like they do...only without the reilgiosity because that’s just not me. Plus, my old horse, who passed away a few years back, was Amish-bred and trained. Went up to Pennsylvania (I was living mostly in Tennessee at the time) to buy her. The horse was amazing and so was the family who ran the farm. So close-knit and yet this family, at least, was quite willing to interact with “the English,” too. And the mom made the most awesome pies ever...
