My nana had something just like that little glass mug that we gave to her, my mother had something just like that little plaque my beautiful niece gave to her, ( and when I think of it a mug with mum very similar to the grandmother one)... They were beloved items to the recievers because of the people that gave them, and those memories are beloved items to me because of the beloved people I see in them, but that are no longer here.
