It´s all in the details. After polishing some tote bag handles I can tell I did my workout! Some just cut the straps, some then bevel the edges, some then put some paint/rubber on it or run a drill over it. But to my opinion there is no substitute of polishing the edges with a cotton cloth and beeswax, with only your hands. Done with the right amount of heat and pressure you seal the edges and create a smooth finish. That´s handmade, not just operating a machine with your hands.
