Goodnight Tumblr...

I keep on reading... and also thinking.

I tend to overthink most of things, especially the ones that make me happy.

I'm worried... what if after studying this book I decide that Wicca is not for me?? (I already know which aspects I don't kind of agree with) I still want to practice witchcraft and I'm (almost) completely sure that I want to be an Eclectic Witch... But build your on path to your craft it's so confusing...I feel lost.

And also scared. After the debate that happened these days (about Florida Water and cultural appropriation) I started worrying: What if, for example, I perform a ritual with it's roots on Wicca (like a way to celebrate Sabbath idk) but I'm not one? Do I have the right to do that if I'm not devoted? Not even being an Alexandrian Wicca? I don't want to appropriate anything... and even if it's a mistake I would feel extremely guilty.

I would feel guilty for not researching properly. For not understanding before acting... I don't know. I'm just scared.

Maybe I'm thinking too much... Anyways if you need to call me out please do. Even If I would feel awful it's better to learn... I'll be careful and prudent.

Aw man. I've already got four pages nearly complete and I'm like, dying. I've been working non-stop on these since I got home today at around 3:30 (it's 1:36 am). I haven't researched much but I plan to look up efficient ways to get pages done and now I have about a month to do that. So I'm scrambling right now haha

I also drafted two more pages which is also good because I haven't fully finished drafts. Or even the manuscript. I think I'm gonna leave that to do for when I have short amounts of free time.

So today I finished drafting 6 pages and I honestly want to die. But I'm proud of myself. I am pretty close to the big action scene, the climax if you will, and I've decided to start the final drafts of the pages so I can scan them in as I go along. I decided that drafting will be on weekends and finalized pages will be done during the week. I do still need to finish the manuscript because that honestly is a pain. I only follow it loosely, so I might not even finish it (perhaps only finish it for the sake of project display at the end of the year). It's really just a tedious thing that I currently feel too lazy to do, I just want to draw the pages haha. So the pages are what I'm gonna start drafting tomorrow. I'm super nervous about paneling, I'm not good at that aspect and will probably conduct more research (I.e. Reading other mangas). Like I said before I'm going to follow a not so strict guideline of 6 panels per page. I will be drawing on the B4 paper I have because it's big and thick and frankly looks more professional. Is still need to make a ref sheet for Ao, which will be difficult because he has a strange appearance, but at this point it's a must if I actually want to be able to make him look accurate in every panel he's in haha

So I'm going to use this entry to cover everything I did this weekend because I suck at actually journaling stuff

November 18th

Today I decided to go over to my friends house to work on stuff. She needed help figuring out an animation program as well. Here I worked on my manuscript and finished sketching an official reference page for Nym. I still need one for Reighlie and Ao, and I need a more solid one for Zeph (spots on a horse are gonna be very difficult and I'm kinda regretting my life choices but that's okay). I'm not normally good at outfits, but nym's looks actually pretty okay, and Reighlie is just going to be in robes and a basic dress. I also need a mini reference sheet for side characters like an old guy (labeled farmer 1 in my script XD) and the barmaid who is Margret. It would also probably be a good idea to draw some landscapes and buildings because I am really bad at that hah. But yeah I also designed Nym's bow and it looks sick.

November 19th

Today I worked a lot on the manuscript. Because I haven't finished that yet. I decided that I'm gonna be working on sketching pages as I work on the script. I also have been taking out parts that won't translate well into a comic format. In all I've probably shaved off a whole two pages of the official work lol

November 20th

I think I've decided to make Nym on the shorter side, standing at about 157-160cm (5'2 5'3). And his bow will probably be 95cm (roughly 3 feet) his arrows will be 45cm (roughly 18 inches). Today I worked more on Nym's reference sheet in school, as of the time I'm writing this I'm still working on it. I plan to finish it and then start Reighlies because she will be fairly easy. When I get home I plan to finish the manuscript.
