ALSO ALSO, i just saw your description and I'm DEFINITELY worse than you at French so please change my life lol (I'm done spamming you sorry)
hello đ today i spoke to a french woman who didnât speak english and it was lit the most harrowing experience of my life so Iâm not feeling the most qualified to answer this tbh? (langblrs that arenât shit, please interact)Â
however, here are some of the best things i think you can do to learn:Â
â¤keep a diary in frenchÂ
â¤alternatively, play those ask games on here but in frenchÂ
â¤win the lottery and run away to parisÂ
â¤watch loads of french films, or put on french audio and subtitles to a show youâd normally watch in englishÂ
â¤try to find things you can do in that language that makes it an advantage over your native language (does that make sense??) for example, lots of people learn english as a second language because it makes using the internet a lot better. i really like french films so itâs motivation? and recently i was researching the french revolution and obviously french sites are soo much more helpful (all england/america care about is how it affected them, pathetic!)Â
â¤record yourself speaking french and play back the sufferingÂ
â¤see if you can translate anything your idly thinking about into french, it helps you become more natural, figure out vocab youâre lacking, and it gives a good âhmm iâm thinkingâ face if youâre in a boring class.Â
bonne chance! time is the greatest healer đ
