Shiro || Keith || Sheith

   Atlantis, it was not myth or legend, but in truth an entire planet covered in water with one small island in the middle of thousands of leagues of blue. There, in this land-forsaken planet, dwelled two creatures. Sirens and Merfolk were quite frankly at constant war. Merfolk were gentle creatures who welcomed other life forms and considered them equal while sirens considered all other creatures food, including merfolk.      It is here that we find Pontus, a young mer with too much curiosity for the world he lives in and the stars that glitter in the heavens. While his mom had warned him to stay inside today he hadn’t listened. So there he was, peeking above the ocean surface and admiring the sun when out of the sky he saw something large and foreign hurtling to the sea.      Quickly Pontus dove back under the waves, sinking to the bottom as the large black machine crashed down into the water several feet away. The machine seemed to call to him, begging for...something. Suddenly there was a man out of the creatures maw and then young alien rushed forward, darting through the waves and catching the odd creature. Pontus raised a brow. where was his tail and gills?    He didn’t know how or why he knew but instinct took over and quickly he was above the waves, dragging the man toward a small island. He collapsed on the sand, form trembling before he turned the man over, slapping his back in a panic. “Come on, come on...you’re important I don’t know why but you are. Breathe.”
