Honestly I don't even know how I'm surprised at oaks anymore. Like every year I hope and I pray that I can feel the spirit during oaks talk and every year I'm disappointed

To create is to build something out of what came before. For that reason nothing is ever truely lost. Lessons are learned on the foundations of the old. There is a balance to it, a middle ground that must be accepted. Burning to many bridges searching for a fresh start can bring stress and anxiety.

You may think it safer to do things alone, but the talents, and experience of those around you can help . Somethings are easier with teamwork, but don't forget to acknowledge the value of each person. When issues arise resolve it before your team falls apart.

Driven by competition and the need to win. Warriors are strong, but don't care about the damage they take. That impulse can help them reach their goals, but it can also hinder them. What happens at the end? When to much damage has been taken? When there is nothing left to give? What then?

Card for today is The King. Taking things for granted ignores all the benefits hard work can bring. Even if you think you know the answer, other's wisdom can show you new paths. On the reverse side, don't listen to those who think they know better if you know your decision is correct.

Last night I did a lot of crying, praying, and questioning and I’ve decided to go back to the LDS church. Does that mean that my craft will be pushed out of my life? Absolutely not. My practice has always been secular to begin with which means that the two will remain separate, but both equally important. I will still consider myself to be a secular, eclectic witch and I’ll just happen to be a Christian too. I don’t plan on letting my church family know about my witchy life, because frankly, it’s none of their business and I’m not prepared for what results it would produce. But, I did want to let you all know in case anyone was curious about either of the practices. Also, if you’re a Mormon who practices or is interested in witchcraft, I’ve got your back, lets be friends.
