"Hey Les, you seen that cardigan I was wearin' the other night? I don't know if I left it somewhere, but I can't find it." He's asking as he descends the stairs, not sure where Lestat is in the house but confident he can hear him. ( @ldpdulac )
He was outside their front door leaning on the cast iron gate cigarette between his fingers as he watched people go by. He's the first to admit he was distracted by what he was seeing. The mortals were putting out decorations, some muttering about carving pumpkins. He blinks and look over his shoulder to Louis. Perfect as ever as he took the last few steps down the stairs. "On the sofa, Mon chéri." He takes a drag from his cigarette as his gaze follows a family that lives a few houses down listening to their thoughts. "Mon cœur, what's Halloween? Is it to do with why they are hanging up decorations?" He doesn't wait for answer before flicks his cigarette into the street heads inside shunting the door before him. "Tell me everything." He takes Louis' hands guiding him to the sofa where his cardigan was and picks it up to hold it open for Louis so he can help him slip it on then presses a kiss to his cheek as he walks around to fix the other collar. "I want to understand what has the mortals so excited by this Halloween festival." His blue eyes widen with wonder as grins at Louis as he rests his hands on the other chest. "Please Louis, we never had anything like this in France."
