         FOREST  GREEN  EYES  FOCUSED ,  a  sight  so  beautiful   /   still  wishing  it  belonged  to  him  instead .   he  should’ve  told  her ,  should’ve  kissed  her  longer .   but  he  couldn’t  do  it  :  too  afraid  of  commitment , too  afraid  to  pour  his  heart  out ,  to  open  up .    he  trusted  her  wholeheartedly ,  with  everything  at  all  except  for  one  thing ,   his  goddamn  heart .   reckless behavior  :  walking  &  pushing  away ,  over  and  over  again .   now  she  had  finally  made  a  decision ,  a  decision  that  disgusted  him ,  a decision  he’d  never  fully  understand .    ❛   so  it’s  the  truth ,  huh ?   ❜    head  tilted ,  defeating  sigh  escapes  fleshed  lips .   it  never  really  happened  before ,  maybe  once  or  twice  whenever  she  was  around  :  but  the  emotions ,  painfully  obvious ,  like  an  open  book .    ❛   you’re  together  with  damon  now ?   ❜   /   @lcvesblindly !

it was a thursday night (friday morning), and for the sake of keeping with tradition (or maybe just habit) the two had found themselves wasted and sitting in the flying diaper --- again. the weird shaped statue was a comfort, giving the sensation of seclusion without making you feel lonely or claustrophobic. you were quite literally sitting in the middle of something bigger than yourself, something that could envelop you, but wouldn’t. tristan flicked his cigarette butt, watching it skitter towards the parking lot. he was drunk, more wasted than he usually got at these things, but it was nice. this whole thing was nice. “i was so bored ‘fore i met you,” he slurred, sliding backwards against the concrete. “but then i met you, an’ everything changed...” quite literally. he never spent this much time on campus, had never been anyone’s drunk babysitter, never had anyone over at his apartment --- but he was happy. surprisingly content with the change. “now... wait hey, you think if we order food they’ll deliver it here?”

although the past few months have brought a few changes to weaver’s life, one thing that hasn’t changed is elena. sure, they share a bed almost every night now, lazy sundays are their thing, and saying goodbye during the morning always takes them at least fifteen minutes longer than it used to. her annoying habit of always leaving her clothes everywhere, though, is still going strong. it even seems to have rubbed off on him a little bit, because their bedroom looks quite a mess most of the time ( or maybe it’s the fact that she now wears some of his clothes once in a while too ). “ hey, elena, have you seen my plaid shirt? the blue one that i got on christmas? “ before she can come back from the bathroom and reply, weaver goes to look for it besides her bed, where a pile of clothes is lying, and hopefully it’s not dirty laundry. except, instead of finding his shirt, he notices elena’s suitcase. her filled with things suitcase. the one she uses for slightly long trips - like mystic falls. “ what the---? “
