It takes a second for the question to register in Lei Heng’s mind, but when it finally does, he bursts out into laughter.

"Sure, I'd still love you if you were a worm," he eventually answers you though his laughter hasn't fully died down yet.

Would he actually love you if you happened to turn into a worm one day? He’s not sure. Would he even know that the worm is you?

Regardless, he figures that you’re asking out of insecurity so he has no problems playing along.

“…Yes.”

Zilu’s answer is hesitant, but only because she's confused by what exactly you mean by your question.

Not that knowing the context would change her answer. Whatever situation she can think of, she can't imagine any where she wouldn't love you because you were a worm.

She can, however, imagine a few scenarios where you don't love her because you're a worm and each one of them makes her sad.

“Yes.”

Her answer is immediate, maybe even too quick. In a battle of wits, Zigong will make sure that she comes out on top even if it's a question she doesn't understand, and this one in particular she doesn't see a point in asking… unless you're trying to get something out of her. Kisses, maybe.

Be prepared for her to turn things around on you, asking you if you would love her as a worm, teasing you about your answer and pushing the question in a way to imply that she's not cute enough.

It's all in good fun, though. She'll stop the moment she thinks she's gone too far and she'll tell you that she loves you no matter what you look like… provided she understands why you asked that question in the first place.
