"I'm sorry, I can't help you." (Layla to Elijah)
Sad Sentences, Vol. 2
Elijah swallows, thinking to himself for a moment. Then, his jaw tightening a bit, he spoke "Yeah. That's not surprising." After all, ever since that accident when he was young, things just hadn't been right. He just slipped into these moods, sometimes. He wasn't a dangerous man, of course. Sometimes he just felt like a minor character to everything else, overall. But right now, he wasn't going to press the issue "To be honest with you, I don't think I want to be fixed. I don't think there's anything wrong with me."
Well, there was the fact that he split sometimes, and did horrible things. Like, killed his parents. But that was circumstantial. He regretted it, but he didn't like to think about it, either. Thanking his issues with memories for the moments of peace without thinking of them, and what he had done, usually "Maybe, maybe, this is all how it's supposed to be? I probably should let my memories continue to escape me, right?"
