#layla iserna

The trend was really popular and I even used it for one of my own ocs (non twst related. It was a completely original world). When I read Layla’s nightmare, I thought it was really interesting. I tried making a comic of it too but then I thought it’d be better as an animatic, but I’m very unexperienced in digital art so I decided to do my best with traditional art.

When the overblot victims start their spiral, there’s a gem that is being splattered with blot so I tried to draw it behind Layla in the first scene and also have her crying blot like in her story.

I forgot about her hand having blot on it thought so please excuse me for that.

The rest is pretty straightforward but I’d imagine Layla’s subconscious just playing this song as a background in her nightmare, because the focus is taking the blame for ‘this’ and is she ‘man enough’ to do it or is she going to take the easy route (in this case, overblotting) like a coward? (I understand that she is your persona and I do not know you personally so I’m not calling you a coward! It’s just that it was in her personality traits so this is not a slight against you)

A line that I really liked in the story was about Riddle correcting her and telling her to call him Housewarden Rosehearts and when Kuzuryuu, Isami and Riddle call her Iserna cause I just love that trope in character relationships. I wanted to put some of the dialogue inside but it was looking very clunky so I just left it without dialogue.

She lowers the affection of other characters due to certain dialogue options causing her to unintentionally say something herself that lowers the affection towards you. When this happens, a brief sprite of her with a stunned and regretful expression flashes before returning to the normal one. This sprite still has not been found by data miners, somehow.

When the player character meets her for the first time, she is seen asleep, leaning on a wall.
