Law school is having lectures with content warnings
it's the "i'll participate while i'm cooking in the kitchen" mentality for me
i’ve been losing motivation lately. i think, though, this is a great reminder to myself that motivation is something that comes and goes-- it’s more important to be disciplined. so far, i’m still working on that, but i hope i can be better at it.

Study session!
Today is a marathon of studying. Pace yourself slowly and surely. It’s not a sprint....especially in conditional reasoning review...
Let Chapter 7 out of 11 commence!
My seveneth semester of college starts tomorrow, which officially means I only have four more before graduation!
2020 is such a HUGE year for me. I take the LSAT on March 30th, and I plan to start applying for law schools in the fall - which means I should get my responses around then too. This year could really make or break me, and It's so exciting and so nerve wracking at the same time.
I found this planner at Target for $3 (in the dollar section!) but the first page that says "Today is the day" was a clear, textured plastic. I decided I wanted to spice that up a little. I took some pictures from my motivation wall, and put this together.
My goal is to see my true wants and desires (i.e. Yale Law, New York City) every single day on that planner, and read "Today is the day", because every day is a fresh start, no matter how terrible the previous one was, and become more motivated and stronger every day because of those things.
Good luck to everyone starting off their spring semester this past week or anytime soon. And remember:
If your GPA isn't where it's supposed to be
If you still don't know what you're doing after college
If you're behind on credits and now your graduation is being pushed back another semester
If you failed a class last semester and now you're dreading going back to class
Anything at all that you feel isn't up to the "academic standard" society holds us to
You're not alone. We've all been there. You will get through this. Deep breaths, and remember to focus on one thing at a time. Worrying about too many things at once won't get you far. I know it may feel hopeless, trust me I've been there. But what's meant to be will be, and you can do anything you set your mind to. Smile (even if you have to fake it), you got this. ❤️
