I went to the denver aquarium recently—mostly to try to confront this fear of big fish that i have—and my main takeaway is that it was disgusting and i didn’t like it

The air felt gross, it smelled bad, it was way more wet than I expected, and white people (yes, SPECIFICALLY white people) don’t know how to control their kids/actively refuse to do so

Also the tiger exhibit made me suuuuuuper sad. It was depressing as hell like why the fuck do they have full time mammals at the aquarium??? I know the reason is money but the shit is inhumane.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend going on a weekend. Or at all.

playing some dbd bc I can’t sleep so I figure I’ll just clear dailies and challenges during bloodlust to rack up some BPs to get my Zarina to 100th prestige like she deserves 💅🏽

the very first match I play I go against a Nurse which is fine since running nurses can be easy and I have a Get Chased By The Killer for 120 Seconds As Renato daily

She seemingly immediately searches for me but I notice this nurse isn’t really trying to kill me though. She’s chasing me but not like with any kind of passion so I can tell she’s at least kinda friendly. A couple seconds of running her and it clicks—she has one of those stupid Blink To A Survivor And Hit Them X Times dailies lmao

I’m a sportsman so I help her out and let her blink/hit me like 5 times bc when I have that daily it usually takes me like 4-5 matches to complete it and that shit pisses me off bc it’s obvious that I’m being friendly and just need a challenge done

She helps me finish my daily so we spend a few minutes throwing snowballs at each other until gens are done and then I loudly (rushed vaults n whatnot) run to the gate so she can see that I’m leaving her my green key (that I brought to avoid accidentally bringing the killer to a gen while getting chased bc, like i said, I’m a sportsman) and as soon as I leave the gate I get a snap of me leaving said gate from a friend that another friend—his wife—was the killer lmaoooooo

My big brother and I haven’t really spoken in about a year. We got into a fight at my mom’s birthday lunch last year and he just kind of shut me out of his life. Before all of that happened tho we were always really close. It wasn’t our first fight—and I’m sure it won’t be the last—but his energy and emotions felt very strong and intentional. He always would shut me out after our disagreements but this time was the longest it had gone on for and it sucked. Not talking to him was really hard, like especially when we would both be at my mom’s or a family gathering because there would be conversations he’d be in that I wanted to jump into but wouldn’t because I wanted to respect his boundaries.

He called me at like 1 am because he had been jerked awake by a panic attack. I wasn’t his first call but I was the one who answered. We talked for a little over an hour to calm him down so he could get back to sleep. I’m so glad he knew that I would answer if he called me 💛
