Okay, so Junior's love life isn't where he wants it. His professional life is doing great - he made lieutenant, which gave him enough money to finish out the last two unfinished rooms. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the water's fine!

"You're the kid who lives upstairs from Candy and Arden, right?" "That's right, Mr Arden's Dad." "Kind of a long way from home, aren't you?" "Dad wanted a day out."

Getting out of the house is the only way to meet a new love interest. Unfortunately, everyone in the park today seems to be married or male. But it's always nice to meet Penny.

Goldie's in town, too. She's always been so nice, even when he and Candy are fighting. And of course she can give him the low-down on how things are going in Widespot.

Lavesh, cured himself, keeps wandering down to see if Arden feels any better. Candy makes an effort to amuse him. "So he had four aces, but I had one, and I'm going, Okay, something's wrong here!"

"Say, Lavesh, I've got a deadline and you know what would be a big help?"

Candy has this novel writing gig down now, and it's time to expand - into supernatural romance! If anybody can make an out-of-body encounter steamy it's Candy Hart!

Finally, Arden is allowed out and about a little. "Dude, that is really rude." "You don't have anything I haven't seen - do you?" "How do I know what you've seen?" "Anyway, I told your mom I'd clean up so she could work on her new book." "Well, knock it off! You'll make me look bad!"

"Now, stop sucking up to my mom or I'll have to noogie you!" "You can try!" "Pff, you mean you can try to stop me."

No need to be home when Lavesh gets off from school, anymore; time to broaden the job search. Hm...aerobics instructor...that's kind of...music adjacent? Naw, he can do better than that.

"Good news! I got a job! It's only sound engineer, but it has lots of networking potential." "That's great! You'll have your career back on track before you know it. You're - not dressing like that when you go in, are you?" "Um - maybe?"
