This bonnet first graced the screen in 2008, when Gemma Arterton wore it as Elizabeth Bennet in 𝑳𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏.   The costume was later recycled in 2009 for Laura Pyper’s portrayal of Jane Fairfax in the television adaptation of 𝑬𝒎𝒎𝒂.   The piece was seen again in the 2013 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒚, where it was spotted on Nichola Burley as Louisa Bidwell.   It’s gone on to grace the heads of several other actresses over the years, and it has even been displayed at the Jane Austen House Museum in Chawton!   Find out where else you might have seen this bonnet: Bit.ly/Acces064.
