Groove Geometry happens when recording different frequencies onto a record. Each frequency creates its own modulation which then carves a unique groove into the recorded medium. The final art piece it creates is a one of a kind musical instrument or recorded artifact for the listener to manipulate using turntablism or just to listen to for enjoyment. All percussion sounds on these recordings were either captured through field recordings or created using sound synthesis. They were then chopped and mangled on my set up.
Limited Edition 10" lathe cut record on black vinyl which contains the music of Groove Geometry. Each one was recorded one at a time on a modified Presto 6N lathe. Only 12 Lo-fi copies made . Each of them hand numbered.
