The helpful folks @centralmarket made some great recommendations. My reviews of each beer are below: _ PUMPKINHEAD ALE | SHIPYARD This wheat beer was delicious and well spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. It wasn’t overly seasoned, but i wish it had a tad more. The beer was light, crisp and a great introduction to #pumpkinbeer season. _ FUNNEL CAKE ALE (State Fair Of Texas Beer) | COMMUNITY I did not like this beer but I’m glad I tried it. Funnel Cake was sweet on the nose, and smells like the state fair, but it didn’t taste like a funnel cake. It smelled like cotton candy. Surprisingly it wasn’t sweet; instead it had a weird biscuity, bitter, sour twang that I was not a fan of. I tried to finish it, but it was just super funky so I gave up _ VAN DAYUM | BLUE OWL I really love sour beers that make you pucker a bit, and this was a tart sour that made my evening 😁. This beer had a heavy cherry flavor but was also tart, crisp, light and refreshing. This is a great summer beer. Out of all the beers I drank Sunday, I liked this one the most.
