i was dancing on the beach and I saw this man.. dark haired, strong.. masculine. we held this intense eye contact. the mutual attraction was undeniable. I could see it in every micro expression on his face. It was hot. I’d seen him the day before.. again, on the beach and we made eye contact that lasted a little too long, or better said; ended a second too soon. That kinda eye contact that makes you think “who is that” .. he came up to me and started making conversation but I don’t think either of us truly heard anything we just looked at each other. I love these moments of pure carnal desire. Not often do I feel them and I love the excitement. Anyways, this story ends by me telling you my ex came running in and told him that he was my boyfriend and just like that, he left.

“Roller Coaster Love” Enhanced Photography Artwork
This beautiful landscape scene with the roller coaster is from my time in Wildwood, New Jersey, USA. There aren’t many beach towns that have a roller coaster for amusement so this truly is something special.
I’ve always loved roller coasters but I will say that my body’s tolerance for them has grown weaker as I’ve gotten older. I can’t ride them as fanatically as I used to which makes the experience, when I do get to ride one, that much more savory.
To this day, roller coasters are still the icons of any amusement park with boundaries always being pushed to see how great of an architectural and extreme thrill we can create with them.
I love how the landscape here leads up to the roller coaster and as it combines with the clouds within the skyline above the coaster, both come together to create a wonderful calming presence for the artwork. This, in turn, brings forth a wonderful irony for the artwork because I don’t think any of us would ever associate the word calm with roller coasters but that‘s all part of the allure of them. That excitement they bring to us is exactly why we LOVE Roller Coasters. They bring out the child in all of us.
