Rockhounds, can anyone tell me what kind of rock this is? Found on the beach central-north Vancouver Island. Palm sized. Thank you.

Does your Hatchling go by any name other than The Hatchling? If so, what? Their name is Dallasite! Just call them Dallas. And don't call them Hatchling, they actually hate it. They've gotten desensitized over time, so they probably won't correct you unless they're already mad, but they Do hate it.

How old was your Hatchling on their launch day? So... I know that this is quite a range developmentally, but I picture both them and Solanum being the human equivalent of 16-19. Very fresh adults, both having just come of age (though not in Dallas's case, because they still haven't passed their sap wine ritual, so even though they're the age where they should be an adult, they're technically not.)

Does your Hatchling use pronouns other than they/them? If so, which ones! Nope! I do appreciate Hearthian OCs that discover gender from the Nomai and yoink it, but that's not Dallas.

13. How does your Hatchling like their marshmallows? BURNT!!! Just like Gabbro does!! Just like they SHOULD be!!! Dallas does have some incredibly cursed food preferences though, so maybe don't trust their taste in everything....

37. Where in the solar system did your Hatchling visit first? Dallas basically followed my playthrough, since I developed them using the (X) Wake Up protagonist as a base! So technically they hopped to the Attlerock first, I think, but landed on the Quantum Moon very shortly after by intuiting the rule, so I say The Quantum Moon for the poetry of it all.

50. Freebie! Gave this poor kid narcolepsy, because I have chronic fatigue issues and looked at how insanely quickly the Hatchling can fall asleep at a campfire in ANY conditions as SOON as they come up to it, so I went "hm. wait a minute." There was a little bit of concern when it came to allowing them to pilot a ship, but they assuaged Gossan by proving that if they feel like they might have a sleep attack or cataplexy they just don't fly, and they can deal with ambient brain fog well enough to handle the ship as normal otherwise. But it absolutely did cause an issue here or there during the loops when stress started catching up to them.

My current red calcite cab I’m working on, as well some Dallasite slabs, and an unknown slab.

I actually quite like the end chunk, of the plain gray, that came off the bigger chunk of Dallasite.
