Late night thought but I feel like in fics (and even in canon, imo) Alteans are majorly unexplored? Like, if anything people mention alchemy, but what about the whole shape-shifting going on? Enhanced strength? Ability to give other species altean marks?Â
Another thought is that the concept of quintessence is pretty under explored as well.Â
logged out until the next wednesday (30.09)!! this is a scheduled post, so my queue can run out. im gonna be back soon!! ❤️ and i might post a little something on wednesday
Why do I have this image of the Glitch having a whole collection of creepy dolls...
Hey would ya look at that it’s edgy 14 year old me with the hottest take known to man!!
In all serious though, I was just looking through a bunch of my old posts and I found this again. I absolutely do not believe in this statement anymore. At this point I hated studying Irish because: 1) I was terrible at it and 2) I found it really boring. I genuinely thought that this was just my solid opinion on it but I’ve come to realise that I had a bad teacher and that I wasn’t seeking out Irish media that interested me. I was wrong to take my own academic struggles out on a really important part of my cultural heritage. I’m repeating my Leaving this year and I have a fantastic gaeilgeoir as a teacher who teaches the subject with an infectious joy whilst impressing upon us the significance of what we’re learning. I’m still not great at Irish and there are a multitude of things I’d change about the course but I’ve come to really love the language as a whole. I know I’m not alone in wishing I was fluent in Irish but I’ve also realised that broken Irish with horrendous grammar is better than no Irish at all!Â
Hearing young kids on the bus gleefully reciting that mála scoile poem to their parents on the bus home is proof that the language is far from dead. The continued existence of Seachtaine Na Gaeilge is proof that Irish is not a dead language. As long as people are speaking and enjoying Irish (regardless of their skill level), Irish is alive and kicking. And so I’ll keep trying to better myself at it.
TL;DR: Irish is a great language and it took me five goddamn years to realise that.Â

Has anyone else ever wondered how Schneep, Chase, and Jack met/became friends?
Do any of the Egos know how to drive...
Why is it I have moments where I want to call The Glitch either an Overgrown Broccoli or Pickle...
