1. If I was coming to visit you, what would you plan for our day out on the town? Would I get one day out on the town and one day out of the town? Because if so we’d have to check out the park and the inner city and the university library which I love, and on a different day we could take the train out and check out the Sächsische Schweiz and how pretty it all is.

2. Have you watched a Shakespearean play being staged live? If yes, did you like it? If no, would you like to? And which one? As far as I can remember I haven’t seen one staged live yet, no, but I’d love to see Hamlet. I just love Hamlet a lot. (As well as Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream) Although.. maybe I'd prefer to see Twelfth Night, but then I think I just really adore the film version with Helena Bonham Carter and Imogen Stubbs, so maybe I’d be disappointed with another version.

3. How many alarms do you keep to wake up in the morning? At the moment I have three, but only in case something goes horribly wrong. Usually I wake up from a single one with no trouble at all. I even have a tendency to wake up a few minutes before it even rings once I get settled into a particular rhythm, so.. yeah. But safety first. ;)

4. Do you name your inanimate possessions? If you do, what’s the quirkiest one? Most of my possessions just get terms of endearment, like darling, and beautiful and lovely (like my printer, or some of my favourite books), but my laptop is labelled Donovan on the outside, and Claudia as far as the network goes, so.. maybe that? I didn’t even come up with that, my brother set my computer up as Claudia, lol. (That’s what I get for getting him into Warehouse 13, haha) But most of my cuddly toys/stuffed animals used to have names, like the IKEA rats and mice all had names like cocoa, sugar, jj,aj, depending on their colour and origin. one was simply ‘white’.. idek. I had a cat one called Moritz (from Max und Moritz, there was also a Max later on).. I have a tendency to name a lot of things. One of my plants was called Tilly for a friend I had back on lj.

5. When was the last time you made someone cry? (It can be in a good way) I don’t even know, like.. people don’t really tell you, do they? I think I made myself cry, though, with thoughts of Kili and Tauriel, just earlier today.

6. Joss Whedon, Christopher Nolan, Darren Aronofsky, Quentin Tarantino? *sigh* I like a lot of their films and projects, but then as so often I don’t really like some of their decisions, and choices they make about characters (see Inara on Firefly, like.. how dare you Joss, that’s just disgusting) so I like to stay critical of stuff they say and put out there. (they’re not really faves either, so they’re just problematic. I do really dig their stuff sometimes though) I had to google the last three, btw, because I don’t think I ever really pay a lot of attention to who makes what.

7. Are you good with handling babies/kids? I guess I’m alright. Don’t have a lot of experience with babies, there weren’t really any around when I was growing up, but I did work at the kids’ circus for a while, training little kidlets, and I like them quite a bit. They can be so sweet and kind, but then sometimes they get hurt and I panic, and then I don’t think I’m quite at adult stage yet, because I don’t quite know how to handle them.. So.. I think I’m okay, but I always worry a lot (maybe a bit too much).

8. On a scale of 1-10, how pissed off do you get when someone doesn’t close the door behind them when they leave? With my mum, if it was closed when she came in, and if it was closed because I needed space because I was mad or upset: 10, lol, but basically unless I’m upset or mad, I’ll be okay, I might grumble and pull it shut a bit louder than necessary, but for the most part I don’t really care. so maybe a 3-4? idk. in general I try to get the doors into the same position they were in before I entered, and if I’m unsure I’ll ask, and I feel like that’s the way to go, I guess. (unless someone is upset and you’re trying to give them time but to let them know you’re there, then I guess you could tell them you’ll leave it open a tiny bit, and ask if that’s alright with them..)

9. Have you ever cheated on a school test? I think once, at a chemistry test, and only by writing into the Tafelwerk we were allowed to use, and only by writing down a page number where I could find the info I’d need, which is kinda stupid, now I’d just put like a piece of paper in to mark the page.. idek or just remember the page numbers. but then.. yeah. thought about cheating a lot more than I ever did. and our history teacher told us to write a cheat sheet and put it in our shoe to not take out, which I also did once, not sure if it actually helped tho, I was crap at history that year.. -.- I think I was always a) too scared to get caught, and b) too proud to actually do it, because then if I got a good grade it wouldn’t mean anything. (also my dad’s a teacher, so it would have felt like a double betrayal, lol)

10. If you know how to drive, who taught you to? (NFS totally counts btw!) I do not know how to drive, and aim was telling the truth in that you need to visit a special school to get your driver’s license over here. you can’t just have your brother or mum teach you. you need to pass the theoretical test, and then get your practical lessons in, and you kinda need to do it all over again when you’re wanting to get a driver’s license for a motorbike or trucks and stuff like that, so it’s a lot of money and time you put in. but I think overall it’s probably quite safe.
